These two men are accused of multiple Richmond robberies

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Two men were arrested and charged in connection to four robberies and one attempted robbery that took place in downtown Richmond over the weekend, according to Richmond Police.

Forrell Z. Council, 18, of Henrico, and Leonard L. Bullock, 29, of the 1300 block of Jennie Scher Rd., are charged with robbery and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony in connection to the Oct. 6 robbery of a man on South Morris St.

Additional charges against the men are pending in connection to the following Oct. 5 and Oct.6 crimes:

  • An armed robbery of a man along the 1500 block of Colorado Ave.
  • An armed robbery of a man and woman along 1400 block of Colorado Ave.
  • An armed robbery of a man along the 1100 block of West Main St.
  • An attempted armed robbery of a woman along the 1100 block of West Cary St.

“Officers would like to thank the community for sharing information that has helped identify and arrest these individuals,” Richmond Police wrote in a media advisory.

Police asked anyone with information about the crimes or the suspects to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
