Forbes says Congress should get paid less

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04) wrote a letter to the Chief Administrator of the House of Representatives asking his salary be withheld during the Federal Government shutdown. He also cosponsored a bill that would not only withhold salaries of other Members of Congress, but reduce pay for Congressmen and women during future shutdowns.
