Man goes to jail for Kings Dominion assault

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – A man will spend two days in jail and pay a $500 fine after he was found guilty of misdemeanor assault.

Ibram Mehanni, 20, was arrested in June and charged with Sexual Battery after he was accused of groping a woman at a Kings Dominion wave pool.

The Hanover judge sentenced Mehanni to 60 days in jail, but suspended 58 days of the sentence.

Mehanni was arrested after someone alerted a Kings Dominion lifeguard about the incident, a Kings Dominion spokesman said at the time.
