RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – It took Richmond fire crews about 15 minutes to bring a South Meadow Street house fire under control, according to Richmond Fire Chief David Creasy. Crews were called to the row home near Byrd Park about 9:20 a.m.
The fire at the home along the 1100 block of South Meadow was contained to a second floor bedroom, Creasy said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The Red Cross was called to help fire victims. No injuries were reported with the fire.
