SALISBURY NORTH CAROLINA (WBTV)--After hearing kitten noises coming from a truck a man came to a shocking revelation that a kitten was trapped on his gas tank.
A reporter at CNN affiliate WBTV thought he heard an animal in his truck. And it turned out a kitten had hitched a ride on the North Carolina news van.
The vehicle was taken to a mechanic who found a kitten wedged on the gas tank.
The cat, who's been dubbed "news cat," likely crawled up into the vehicle the night before.
She was taken to a local vet and is expected to be okay.
