The hit show “Breaking Bad” is in its fifth and final season but fans haven’t seen the last of at least one favorite character.

Bob Odenkirk, better known as Saul Goodman to Breaking Bad devotees, will reprise his role as the sleaze ball lawyer in an upcoming spinoff series.

AMC and Sony pictures television say the new comedy series,  tentatively called  “Better Call Saul,”  is planned to be “a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of Saul Goodman’s character.”

The character is a criminal lawyer who often goes outside the law to help his less-than-reputable clients, who included Breaking Bad’s main character, Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher turned meth manufacturer.

Additional casting details and the timing of the series have not been released.
