WEST POINT, Va. (WTVR) – The westbound lane on the Eltham Bridge in West Point was closed on Saturday as VDOT crews were working on a shifted steel plate.
VDOT continued to allow traffic with traffic stoppages while repairing the plate. Only the eastbound lane was open to allow traffic in both directions.
The repair is now complete and the westbound lane has been reopened.
