The United States Department of Agriculture recently opted to end the ban on processed chicken imports from China.
What has many screaming foul play is that these products will be sold in the United States without a label specifying country-of-origin.
Politico reports that an audit shows the four Chinese poultry plants that will process the chicken were all inspected in March.
Based on the audit, China will only be able to process chicken that was slaughtered in the U.S. or other certified countries.
The USDA previously stalled efforts to import chicken into the states because lawmaker were concerned about deadly bird flu outbreaks and other Chinese food safety issues.
