(WTVR) - It's been about 16 years since Princess Diana died, and British police are still receiving new information about her death.
According to ABC, there has been some conspiracy theories about Diana and her boyfriend Dodi al Fayed being murdered by British special forces.
British paper, The Mirror, reported the theory came from a letter to the elite unit's commanding officer written by Sergeant Danny Nightingale, claiming the murder was covered up.
Saturday, British police were looking into the new information they received about Diana's and al Fayed's deaths, but they wouldn't say what the information was.
In 2008, a coroner said the car crash that killed Diana and al Fayed was a result of negligent driving.
