NELSON COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- It's been two weeks since Alexis Murphy was last seen on August 3.

Last week, the FBI arrested 48-year-old Randy Taylor, charging him with abduction of the Nelson County Teen.

According to WDBJ, Taylor is scheduled for a bond hearing on Thursday, Aug. 22.

CBS 6 asked what kind of evidence his attorney, Michael Hallahan, would need in order for Taylor to be granted bond.

CBS 6 legal analyst Todd Stone said Hallahan will have to show that he's not at flight risk and not a danger to the public.

"They look at criminal records," Stone said.  "Does he have a violent past?  Does he have a record for failing to appear in court?" he asked.  "Those are the things a judge will look at and say, 'Well, look if he has a violent past, he could be violent.'"

Hallahan told WVIR that Taylor wasn't the last person to see Alexis.  He added that Taylor admitted to being with Alexis the day she disappeared, but he said the pair met up with a dealer at Taylor's home.
