DECATUR, Ga. (WSB) – A 10-year-old girl helped save a one-month-old baby’s life. The baby and her mother were stuck upstairs when the apartment below caught fire in Decatur, Georgia this week.
When the 10-year-old girl ran out of the burning apartment to safety, the baby’s mother asked is she could toss the infant down to the ground.
“She was dropping her babies and she asked me and my sister can she get the babies for her,” 10-year-old Zna Gresham said. “I caught the newborn baby from falling. Before it hit the ground I had caught it.”
