RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- A 15-year-old is facing multiple charges after a Richmond police pursuit that ended in a crash injuring five on Wednesday.The accident happened in South Richmond near the McGuire Veterans Hospital.
The teen is not being identified because of his age, but is charged with auto theft, attempting to elude police, driving without a license and hit and run.
Police said the teen stole an SUV and fled from police on Belt Boulevard near Stockton Street when it crashed into a GRTC van causing the van to overturn, and the SUV to crash into a home.
Five people, including the teen suspect, as well as two others in the SUV were injured, in addition to two people in the GRTC van.
