MOSELEY, Va. (WTVR) - A driver who ran over his brother before crashing into the attached garage said that his brakes failed.
Chesterfield Police said they are calling the situation an accident.
An adult male was standing in the driveway of a home off Genito Road when the brakes on his brother's car failed.
The man was hit and the car stopped once it crashed into the house's garage.
The driver was not hurt, but according to the watch commander, the other brother suffered serious injuries.
The building inspector did not condemn the home, although it did sustain damages.
