RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): Vegan Action Presents Richmond Vegetarian Festival Saturday, June 15 from noon - 6pm in the Azalea Gardens at Bryan Park.
The park will be a sea of more than twenty local restaurants, 70 vendors, local bands, Jonathan Austin a vegetarian juggler, Khalima, vegetarian belly dancer, a Vegan Boxer, a husband and wife Doctor team and CBS 6 Meteorologist and a vegetarian Mike Goldberg. There will also be speakers, and an Iron Chef like competition.
It's free admission to the festival but you'll be able to purchase vegetarian dishes from food vendors.Organizers are asking that you bring a can of vegetables for the LAMB's Basket, an emergency food pantry located in Lakeside serving the hungry in Henrico County.
