HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Actor Rob Lowe was spotted at Richmond International Airport (RIC) Tuesday morning after a three-hour airport evacuation was lifted.
The airport was evacuated about 6:30 a.m. so police could investigate a threat.
CBS 6 photojournalist Lamar Person, who was at the airport covering the breaking news, spotted Lowe about 10:20 a.m. as the actor walked from the terminal to the baggage claim area.
Person attempted to interview Lowe, but the actor did not seem thrilled to see a news camera in the airport upon his landing. Lowe did not slow down his stride as Person attempted to set up his camera and ask the actor a question.
It was unclear what time Lowe landed or if he was even aware of the media gathered at RIC to cover the airport evacuation.
Filming is scheduled to start this week and last until July 3.
For the record, CBS 6 would love to arrange a sit-down interview with Mr. Lowe at his earliest convenience. Hopefully his people will call our people :-)
Lowe, who tweeted from New York City earlier this week, has not yet tweeted about his arrival in Richmond.

However his KILLING KENNEDY co-star Ginnifer Goodwin has.
“Just so we’re clear, the way to my heart is through French food (à la @BistroBobette #Richmond)… & mustaches. #KillingKennedy #OnLocation,” Goodwin tweeted over the weekend.
