IRWIN COUNTY, Ga. (CNN) – Police are investigating after two EMTs and a patient on board an ambulance were killed in an early-morning crash in Irwin County, Georgia.
The ambulance was driving with lights flashing and siren blaring when a tractor-trailer coming from the opposite direction jack-knifed across the road and into the ambulance’s path.
Police said there could be charges filed once the investigation into Thursday morning’s crash is complete.
