RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Police hope a photo taken by a witness can help identify two men accused in a recent Richmond crime. Police say the men in the picture are behind the broad-daylight robbery of a woman on Stuart Ave. The men pushed the woman to the ground, stole her purse and ran off, police said.
The photo was taken after the crime by a witness, police said.
The Stuart Avenue crime happened about 12:40 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29. The men in the photo were last seen running west on Stuart Avenue and then north on Cleveland Avenue toward Broad Street.
Police asked anyone with information to call Detective William Cutshall at 646-1068 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
