(WTVR) - If you're like most cell phone users, you check your phone even when it isn't ringing or buzzing. But do you think you check your phone 150 times a day?
According to the Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers' annual Internet Trends report, 150 times is the average amount of times people check their phones daily.
Specifically the study found cell phone users checked their phones:
- 23 times a day for messaging
- 22 times for a voice call
- 18 times to check the time
On top of that, the report said that more than half a billion photos are shared every day and the report expects that number could double by next year.
Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are the most popular networks for photo sharing. But photo destroying application Snapchat, has about 150 million photos shared daily.
