RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - Darryl Ellyson was awarded the New Horizons award for 'Best New Artist' by the Virginia Organization of Lyricists and Composers. He describes his sound as 'soulful contemporary blues'. He performed ‘Brokedown Blues’ and ‘When I Get Home’. You can catch Darryl Ellyson performing all over Richmond, including Thursday, May 23rd from 1pm - 4pm at Haynes Furniture in North Chesterfield and again on Friday, May 31st from 6pm to 9pm at Riptides in Chester.
