(WTVR) – The United Nations says ending world hunger can be accomplished, if many of us would consider an unconventional food source- bugs.
The U.N.’s Food and Agriculture Organization released a report Monday that promotes the practice of insect eating to reduce malnutrition and air pollution.
According to the FAO, insects contain good fats and are a great source of fiber and minerals.
The FAO estimates at least 2 billion people worldwide incorporate insects into their diets.
