RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - High water led to a river rescue on the James Wednesday night.
Three people are safe and sound this morning after being rescued at the river near Haxall point Wednesday.
Richmond fire crews said shortly after 10 p.m. boats were searching the river after reports of people in the water close to South 10th Street.
Just before 10:30 p.m. 3 people were pulled safely from the water.
