BLOOMINGTON, Calif. (WTVR) - A scheduling mix-up led to confusion and disappointment for hundreds of students at a California high school.
Teens dressed in evening gowns and tuxedos expecting to attend their senior prom.
But instead they found no food, no music and no dance floor.
The school had apparently changed the prom date, but they didn't notify anyone.
The school tried to accommodate the students, finding a DJ and some finger foods, but students say it just wasn't the same.
Bloomington High school is taking full responsibility and is planning a second prom free of charge in late May.
