Lows through daybreak Monday will drop into the 30s for much of state Frost is possible, but will be more likely across western Virginia.
A frost advisory has been issued for areas well northwest of Virginia, including the counties of Albemarle, Culpeper, Greene, Madison, Nelson & Orange.
For areas west of those counties, frost is still likely with the possibility of a hard freeze. However, for the far western part of the state, the growing season has not officially started, so advisories or warnings are not issued at this point of the month.
Passing high clouds and winds ranging from 2 to 10 m.p.h. will be a limiting factor on how much frost actually materializes.
