RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — The Virginia Supreme Court upheld the murder convictions of a man whose crimes terrorized the Virginia Tech community one year before Cho Seung-Hui.
WDBJ reports that the state’s highest court has dismissed the appeals filed by William Morva.
He was sentenced to death for shooting and killing a deputy and a hospital security guard in 2006.
The search for Morva caused the university to cancel the first day of classes.
