JEROME, Idaho (WTVR) - A high school prom gift is causing some controversy. Students who go to a school in Idaho came home with a commemorative shot glass.
The principal said the glasses were not given with the intention to condone underage drinking. He said they were just meant to be a keepsake.
The principal also said the funds were not available for larger glasses, so they went with the smaller glasses. The student planning committee ordered the glasses, but the purchase order just read mugs.
The school is currently reviewing procedure when it comes to orders involving the student body.
