RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – The body of man found in a burned Richmond home has been identified as 60-year-old George Edward Jones, according to Richmond Fire Department spokesman Lt. Robbie Hagaman.
Hagaman said Jones died as a result of the fire. Jones did not live at the home at 3936 East Broad Rock Road, Hagaman added.
Neighbors said the home had been vacant for more than a year.
Firefighters are still working to figure out what caused the April 16 fire.
