RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A bomb threat emptied the John Marshall Courts Building in Richmond for about an hour Monday morning.
Richmond Sheriff’s Office spokesman Major Jerry Baldwin said someone called the threat in around 9:00 a..m. Baldwin said after a search of the building and surrounding area, court reopened around 9:45 a.m.
A long line formed outside court as the building reopened because everyone evacuated from the building had to re-enter through metal detectors.
