RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – It shouldn’t cost you more to heat or cool your home; at least not this year, or next.
Dominion Virginia Power says it will not raise its base rates for electric service for at least the next two years.
The base rate, which has remained unchanged since 1992, accounts for 40% of a residential customer’s bill.
Right now, the typical bill for a Dominion Virginia Power customer is about $107, the company said.
