RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the number of drink choices at your favorite bar or restaurant? Do you wish there was an easy way to share notes on a new beer, wine or cocktail you recently tasted? Fear not — a local app development company just launched an iPhone app that can help.
Elixr 1.0, developed by Mobelux, seeks to create social network around people who like to share a drink with friends.
“The popularity of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine is exploding around the world. So, we’re convinced that now is the time for a network focused on these experiences,” Elixr’s CEO Marc LaFountain said in a statement.
The app offers several features:

- Post what you’re having and where you are. Your friends can view and comment on the drinks you share.
Rate
- Every drink you rate helps build a grade for the venue you’re at and populates the drink menu for other Elixr Members to see.
Discover
- See what your friends are having and discover the best drinks nearby, no matter where you happen to be.
Share
- Share your posts with your friends in the Feed as well as cross-post to all your favorite services.
