RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Fire crews responded to the Landmark Theater in Richmond Tuesday afternoon after water started to flow out of sprinklers over the theater’s stage, according to a battalion chief on scene.
The water damaged the theater’s stage, but CBS 6 is still waiting for word on exactly how much damage the water caused.
The theater is currently undergoing a $50 million renovation.
It is unclear at this point what caused the sprinklers to go off.
The next scheduled event at the Landmark is comedian Louis C.K. on March 16.
