Highs on Saturday reached the upper 50s and lower 60s across of much of Virginia, the warmest weather of the month thus far, and the first day above normal. Prior to Saturday, highs for March had not exceeded 51° at Richmond International Airport.
Highs Sunday & Monday will reach 65° to 70° in a lot of spots. This will be the warmest weather since late January. That sounds quite odd, but we had a major warm spell at the end of that month.
A cold front will pass through the region on Tuesday, bringing temps a little below normal for the second half of the week.
