(CNN) – President Barack Obama granted 17 pardons on Friday — mostly to people with minor offenses.
The crimes included altering a money order, drug violations, and distributing satellite cable decryption devices.
White House officials haven’t said why the President chose these people to pardon. No one on the list appears to be well known.
