VIDEO: SUV crashes through roof of Texas home

HOUSTON, Tx. (WTVR) – A Texas driver walks away from a bizarre wreck with barely a scratch.

Deputies in Houston say the driver was likely going about 85 to 90 miles an hour when he veered off the road and struck an embankment yesterday.

The impact sent the SUV flying into the air and crashing into a house before it landed, upside down, in the roof of a second home.

Firefighters got the driver out safely, and the people who were inside the homes were not injured. It took crews ten hours to dislodge the SUV from the roof.
