NEW YORK, NY (CNN) -- People who live along the Hudson River in New York and New Jersey are used to seeing big boats, but none quite like the one that pulled up Tuesday.
The Eclipse, a 557-foot super yacht, overshadowed everything else on the water, including a nearby cruise ship.
The ship has nine decks, 30 cabins, two helipads, a swimming pool, a luxury spa and a even a submarine.
Safety seems to be as much of a concern as opulence for the Russian billionaire who owns the Eclipse. It has a military-grade missile defense system, armor-plating and bullet-proof windows.
The owner is 59th on the list of the world's richest people and his pleasure craft set him back a cool $1.5 billion.
