Another Hampton Roads ship may be victim of sequestration

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WTVR) - The Navy is preparing for a possible $4 to $9 billion shortfall, meaning tens of thousands around Hampton Roads could be laid off or lose their jobs.

The Navy will cancel next year`s planned deployment of the Bataan Amphibious ready group and shut down four of its nine carrier air wings if a deal isn't reached. In addition the Navy will delay deployment for the Truman and delay refueling for the Lincoln. The annual Langley Air Show was also cancelled.
