(WTVR) – A wedding ring was lost by the best man just before the couples big day.
It was accidentally dropped in the middle of the street, found by a man and his 11-year-old son. Trevor Baarten has the ring appraised and found out it cost close ot $6,000.
Meanwhile, the couple went through the ceremony without a ring, and onto their honeymoon in Puerto Rico.
Baarten started checking Craigslist every day and called every Kay jewelers store he could find.
Finally when the new groom went to the store to check on his warranty, a sales person told him a ring matching the description had been found. Turns out it was his neighbor, just four doors down, that found it.
