RICHMOND, VA (WTVR) -- 4711 The Year of the Snake begins the Chinese Lunar New Year Sunday, February 10, and Chinese Americans in Richmond are celebrating with a big event New Years Festival.
The Organization of Chinese Americans - Central Virginia Chapter (OCA-CVC) together with Deep Run High School and the Chinese Schools in Richmond are hosting the 5th annual Chinese New Year Celebration Sunday, February 10 from 10:30am to 3pm at Deep Run High School, 4801 Twin Hickory Road, Glen Allen.
The Festival will have Chinese dancers, cultural performances, parade of a dragon dance, arts, crafts, vendors and food. It's free and open to the public, for more details visit www.oca-cvc.org.
