FESTUS, Mo. (WTVR) - It may look like orange Gatorade but Festus residents are not excited about the orange water coming out of their faucets.
Officials at the public works department say low Mississippi river levels forced them to switch up their water treatment location, likely causing the discoloration.
Residents have not been told whether the water is safe to drink or not.
