WASHINGTON – A woman allegedly robbed two northwest banks in about 15 minutes, and now authorities are on the hunt.
WTOP reports that both police and the FBI said the woman walked into the PNC Bank in the 4200 block of Wisconsin Avenue on Monday morning. The woman gave the teller a note demanding money and left after she received it.
Officials say the next robbery was at the Bank of America in the 3400 block of Connecticut Avenue. The same woman told a teller she had a gun and asked for cash. She left after receiving the money.
No weapon was shown at either robbery, WTOP reports.
