(WTVR) – Millions of people stayed up late to watch the Super Bowl and still have to go to work early the next morning. However, thousands of Americans are trying to change that.
A group called 4for4.com posted a petition asking the Obama Administration to consider declaring the Monday after the Super Bowl a national holiday. They believe having Monday off will promote a more productive workplace on Tuesday.
So far, the petition has over 14,000 signatures. It needs to have 100,000 signatures by February 23rd in order for President Obama to consider the petition.
