RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - The CBS 6 Healthy Lifestyle EXPO kicks off Sat., Feb. 2nd at 10AM continuing until 4PM with ‘Hungry Girl’ Lisa Lillien and Fitness Expert, Stepp Stewart at the Richmond Convention Center. Central Virginia Chapter of JDRF board member, Kevin Sheppard, explains that there is no way to prevent or even cure Type 1 diabetes and the autoimmune disease strikes both children and adults at any age. This propels the JDRF to improve lives and find a cure. Admission to the 2013 CBS 6 Healthy Lifestyle EXPO is $3 and children 12 and under are FREE. Proceeds from the EXPO benefit JDRF.
