(CBS) - People living in the Australian town of Mooloolaba awoke on Monday to find parts of the small beach town in the state of Queensland covered in foam.
The rough weather that whisked through the Sunshine Coast also whipped up foam from the ocean and brought it to shore, local media said.
It covered the beach and streets up to a height of up to three meters.
Many holiday makers as well as residents used the opportunity to play in the foam, or take photographs of the natural phenomenon.
