(WTVR) — Beginning March 1, you will no longer get paper social security checks in the mail.
The U.S. Treasury Department is switching to electronic payments, which means you must choose whether to have the check electronically deposited into your bank account or have a debut card sent to you in the mail.
Starting this year, Virginia is also make a similar change when it comes to handing out state tax returns.
