Feeling down? It may be the season for sadness

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- If you've felt down over the past month, you aren't alone.

The winter season is when seasonal affective disorder (SAD) hits many Americans.

Dr. Micah McCreary, psychologist and associate professor at VCU, stopped by the CBS 6 studios Friday to talk about the disorder -- and what can be done if you have it.

He says it's very important to communicate with a loved one if you feel something is wrong.
