CAROLINE COUNTY, Va (WTVR)- Caroline County investigators have charged a 67-year-old therapist with sex crimes against a young child.  And they say you need to listen, because the suspect could have more victims.

West End neighbors reacted with surprise Wednesday to the arrest of Scott Gordon Henry,

"It's kind of weird, he seemed like a nice guy,” said Korina Lopez who lives next door.  She says she never lets her young children out of her sight.  “They would go over and play with his dog, but only in the yard," she said.

Henry is a licensed therapist for the Rappahanock Area Community Services Board.  They tell us he's now on administrative leave pending the outcome of a criminal investigation.

Henry's  office is across the street from Caroline County High School,  but deputies say that was not the building where an alleged sexual battery took place.

The victim, now 14, told deputies the sex crime happened when the child was six years old.

“We interviewed the victim and in turn, interviewed the suspect, then retrieved warrants for aggravated sexual battery," said Caroline County Investigator Kristel DiGravio.

Investigators believe other victims are out there. In fact, they say another has come forward in the past 24 hours.

“There are specific things done during these therapy sessions and it's our belief a legitimate victim will know his [modus operandi] or more about what occurred during these sessions," said DiGravio.

Instead of being at home, Henry is in now at the Pamunkey Regional Jail with no bond.

His neighbors say the allegations are disturbing to say the least. "I'll just tell my kids, if they see the guy to walk away," said Lopez.

The RACSB  in a statements said they take all allegations seriously but they do not discuss personnel issues because of confidentiality requirements. Caroline County investigators tell me the Board has been very cooperative.

Deputies say call 633-8064 if you have information that may help them with their investigation.
