CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - Police charged a Chesterfield man with failure to maintain control of his vehicle after a Dec. 7 accident on Courthouse and West Providence Roads.
Investigators said a Toyota Camry driven by 53-year-old Caro Conde crossed over the median into southbound traffic and struck a truck driven by 70-year-old Carolyn Evans.
Evans was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police did not disclose the events that may have caused the crash in their initial press release. The story will be updated as more information is released.
