ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (CNN) – A second man was arrested in South Carolina in connection with the bodies found in barrels in a lake this week.
Anderson County sheriff’s officials say John Michael Young is charged with two counts of murder and one count of unlawful removal of a body.
WYFF-TV reports another man was arrested Friday in connection with the case.
He’s accused of helping dispose of the bodies.
The remains, which had been stuffed into barrels, were discovered earlier this week in Lake Hartwell.
Officials say one of the bodies was dismembered.
Area media outlets report the victims and the suspects may have been friends.
