(CNN) – Police say an emergency room “Doctor of the Year” was drunk and on drugs when she was involved in this dramatic crash Friday that was recorded by a traffic cam in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Police say Dr. Kristen Howard was behind the wheel of an SUV that comes out of a parking lot, runs over a grassy area and crashes into the car.
The impact pushed the car into a truck driving the opposite way in the next lane.
Howard was arraigned in court Tuesday on charges including driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
