PORTLAND, Or. (WTVR) - It's a lot like a story CBS 6 brought you first about a sex offender living near a school.
But in Oregon, this time it's sex offenders at a clinic established to treat around 140 of them. It's one block away from a school and a Boy's and Girl's club.
Neighbors are mad they didn't know about it until now. The director of the clinic says she was unaware of the school's proximity. She says none of her clients have a restriction that says they need to be a certain distance from schools.
She says she'd be happy to move her business and neighbors are willing to help. They're working to see if they can break her lease early.
