- 3 (10oz.) packages frozen French style green beans
- 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 medium tomatoes
- 3 Tablespoons sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- Cook green beans and drain.
- Fry bacon, drain and crumble.
- Chop onions and saute in reserved bacon fat.
- Add tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Cover and simmer until soft, about 25 minutes.
- Add green beans and crumbled bacon.
- Mix together and serve.
